COVID-19 UPDATE

24th March 2020
COVID-19 UPDATE

In light of the government's recent directives concerning the Emergency Covid-19 Alert, we are officially closed for trading as of 9am on Tuesday 24th March. We will be keeping up to date with government advice on when we can re-open and we will update the website with any further news that we have.

Our auctions are now postponed and we will keep you up to date as to when these will go ahead. If you are waiting for condition reports or additional information, we will complete these requests upon our return. All lots consigned for future sales will be stored safely and securely until we re-open for business.

The government has ordered all auction houses, (along with many other non-essential businesses), to cease trading, effective from the 23rd March 2020. As all business functions are now on hold, any payments due to go out to customers will be processed upon our return. Please rest assured that all client funds, both buyers and vendors, are held in a dedicated client account. If you still have a payment to make to us, you may do so by bank transfer in accordance with the instructions on the auction email that you have received and this will be processed upon our return to work. For customers waiting for items to be posted, our postage service will resume as soon as we are allowed back in the workplace. Some couriers are limiting collections at this time so we would like to allow them to prioritise their time to essential services.

For all inquiries regarding fine art and antique valuations and related services please contact Adam Partridge and a member of the team will reply as promptly as possible.

We trust that you will remain safe and healthy at this difficult time and we look forward to seeing you when the government advises us that trading can resume.
